We know health can be a handful. So we’ve custom built our wellness hubs with only one goal in mind - to make every Tasmanian’s health journey a little easier.
We host a range of sessions, events, and activities for both our members and the community to attend. We also work with like-minded Tasmanian organisations to deliver programs. If you are interested in working with us in our space, get in touch at events@stlukes.com.au.

Join long term instructors Erin McCabe and Trisha Dunn for classes designed for all bodies and levels of experience.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the core muscles, improving flexibility and enhancing overall body alignment. It involves performing a series of controlled movements on a mat, using body weight as a resistance. The exercises target specific muscle groups including the abdominals, back, hips, and glutes.
Qigong
Join Chinese doctor and acupuncturist Nicholas Beasley for an ancient healing practice involving gentle movements, breathing techniques and self-massage suitable for all bodies at any age.
Through the harmonisation of the mind, body and breath, regulate the nervous system, enhance physical health and invigorate all levels of human experience.
Stretch and Strengthen Exercise Class
Join experienced fitness instructor Megs for a mix of stretching, Pilates, yoga, and general strength work using your own body weight. There will be options for gentle through to more challenging levels with consistent cues to help people feel comfortable to work at their own pace. This class is suitable for anyone looking to improve their flexibility, balance and wellbeing.
Dance with Adam
Join Artistic Director of Tasdance Adam Wheeler for an all ages all abilities dance class for fun and fitness. Wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle to keep hydrated!
Lunchtime Boxing Fitness
Join personal trainer Megs from Fit n Kicking for a fantastic low impact exercise option catering to all levels of fitness and experience.
This class is for those looking to improve cardio fitness, get resistance training, learn new skills and release stress at the same time!
Please note there is no contact between participants in this class only with foam bags.
Mindful Movement for Carers
As part of National Palliative Care Week, Palliative Care Tasmania is celebrating the important role of unpaid carers and starting conversations about 'What’s your plan'?
Caring for someone with a life-limiting illness can be both rewarding and challenging. Based in Yoga and Somatic Awareness, Sarah Van Est will guide you through gentle movement and self-awareness activities to help you feel present, supported, and prepared.
Everyone is welcome - no yoga experience needed.
Mums and Bubs Yoga
Join our yoga class for mums and bubs in a casual, relaxed, and baby-friendly space! Practice gentle Hatha Vinyasa yoga, which offers benefits like stress relief, improved flexibility, and enhanced strength. Self Defence for Adults
