Play and Learn Workshop - Sedentary lifestyles with Sherri Ring
CANCELLED

Play and Learn Workshop - Sedentary lifestyles with Sherri Ring

Tuesday 6th May at 9:30am
2 hours|$65

Sherri Ring is Tasmania’s leading expert in workplace wellbeing, known for her ability to transform workplace culture through connection, energy, and innovation.

Sherri's specialty workshops are fun, interactive sessions where you learn in a playful, collaborative, team building and fun environment.

Sedentary behaviour involves extended periods of little or no movement. Humans are designed to be upright, yet a lot of us spend much of our lives sitting at a desk, slumped over a computer. Sitting has been described as the ‘new smoking’ for the toll it is taking on our long-term health.

This session will include some games, light movement, collaboration and provide you with a range of activities that will help you get up out of your chairs and move more.

Think you know all about the 'impostor syndrome'? Think again...

It's rare to go a day without seeing a post about 'imposter syndrome' on your social media feed. But how much do you really know about it? Dr Terri Simpkin is here to set the record straight. She'll explain why it's so hard to get rid of that nagging sense of being a fake, and how your workplace might be contributing to your fear of being exposed. You'll also learn what you can do to overcome it.
