We know health can be a handful. So we’ve custom built our wellness hubs with only one goal in mind - to make every Tasmanian’s health journey a little easier.

We host a range of sessions, events, and activities for both our members and the community to attend. We also work with like-minded Tasmanian organisations to deliver programs. If you are interested in working with us in our space, get in touch at events@stlukes.com.au.

Please note Information Sessions are general in nature and not designed to replace the advice or care of a qualified health professional. Please consult your relevant qualified health professional prior to making any changes/decisions regarding your personal circumstances.

Note that all event bookings completed through our third-party supplier, SimplyBook.me Ltd are non refundable. Click here for terms and conditions.

Please be aware that photography and/or filming may take place at these events and, by attending events, you acknowledge and agree that any images taken at the event may be used by St Lukes for promotional and marketing purposes.

Play and Learn Workshop - Sedentary lifestyles with Sherri Ring
CANCELLED

Play and Learn Workshop - Sedentary lifestyles with Sherri Ring

Monday 5th May at 9:30am
2 hours|$65

Sherri Ring is Tasmania’s leading expert in workplace wellbeing, known for her ability to transform workplace culture through connection, energy, and innovation.

Sherri's specialty workshops are fun, interactive sessions where you learn in a playful, collaborative, team building and fun environment.

Sedentary behaviour involves extended periods of little or no movement. Humans are designed to be upright, yet a lot of us spend much of our lives sitting at a desk, slumped over a computer. Sitting has been described as the ‘new smoking’ for the toll it is taking on our long-term health.

This session will include some games, light movement, collaboration and provide you with a range of activities that will help you get up out of your chairs and move more.

Taming Negative Thoughts

Tuesday 10th June at 1:00pm
1 hour| $20

Our minds are constantly talking to us, but sometimes they are not telling the truth. Automatic, habitual negative thoughts can ruin your day, steal your happiness, and prolong grief. In this session, Rebecca will teach strategies that help you learn to identify and then replace the self-critical, overgeneralised and guilty thoughts with more helpful thoughts that give you a more accurate, fair assessment of any situation. Filtering out the negative thoughts is empowering, and ultimately leads to improved mental and emotional states.

Please note Information Sessions are general in nature and not designed to replace the advice or care of a qualified health professional. Please consult your relevant qualified health professional prior to making any changes/decisions regarding your personal circumstances.
