Dr. Gary Morris is a lecturer within the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre. Gary leads the Gliovascular Research Group, which investigates how the brains vast network of blood vessels (over 600 km in each brain) work to provide our energy hungry brains with essential nutrients.

In this workshop, Gary will explore how brain blood vessels actively change, support brain function, and contribute to cognitive decline when damaged. He’ll share new research on tracking and targeting vascular breakdown to support brain health in ageing and dementia.
