Understanding Diabetes and reducing your risk

Understanding your risk of type 2 diabetes is an important step towards better long-term health. Around 2 million Australians have prediabetes and are at increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

This free 1-hour session, hosted by Diabetes Australia, provides practical information to help you understand how type 2 diabetes develops and the factors that influence risk. You'll learn about common risk factors, the role of food, physical activity and lifestyle habits, and simple changes that can help reduce your risk. There will also be plenty of time for questions.
