Paul has extensive leadership experience across a number of industry sectors including financial services, aquaculture and agriculture. He has managed and led business through significant growth phases and transformational change. Paul is a Director of Australian Regional Health Group and represents St.LukesHealth as a member of Private Healthcare Australia and Members Health Fund Alliance.

Phillip Fulton

Phillip is responsible for the finance function including strategic and commercial advice on behalf of the fund.

Phillip is responsible for the finance function including strategic and commercial advice on behalf of the fund.  Phillip also assists the Board by undertaking the Company Secretary role ensuring compliance with the fund rules and associated Acts. Phillip previously worked with KPMG in Tasmania for 23 years, specialising in management accounting including management report development that includes enhancing current accounting software to produce meaningful management reports, budget projections, strategic advice etc. Phillip is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia.

Darren has worked with St.LukesHealth for the past 18 years, starting in the area of finance before moving to analytics.

Darren has worked with St.LukesHealth for the past 20 years, starting in the area of finance before moving to analytics. He now leads the operational team at St.LukesHealth, ensuring that the fund remains competitive while meeting the reporting requirements as an APRA-regulated organisation. At an industry level, Darren has held committee positions with Private Healthcare Australia and within St.LukesHealth where he has helped establish high-level sponsorship with Cycling Tasmania. Darren also established the fund’s staff charity Foundation33 and led this for 10 years. During this time, the charity raised almost $200,000 for the community.

Shaw’s depth of health insurance industry knowledge, IT risk management, as well as extensive skills in Information Technology and digital vision, delivers a collaborative business strategy partner that enables high value transformational change and leadership. Shaw’s involvement at industry level includes an advisory role spanning 13 years in the development of a significant health insurance application platform which services 24 health insurance funds around Australia. He is also a member of the Private Healthcare Australia’s “eHealth” committee.

As General Manager People and Culture, Barbara designs and delivers workforce strategies across the multi-disciplinary functions of the organisation, underpinned by demonstrated experience in developing workforce plans and capability frameworks.  Her previous experience in human resources with more than 20 years in the aged care sector and as a Senior Advisor with KPMG, has given Barbara the skills and knowledge to motivate the workforce towards a continuous learning culture which results in high performing teams.  As a member of the Executive team, Barbara brings a ‘workforce’ focus and ensures our people are well equipped to meet the needs of our members to help them stay healthy, get well and live better lives and deliver peace of mind.  She is a member of AHRI and Institute of Leaders and Managers.

Nina is passionate in her belief that good risk management strategy plays a vital role in achieving desired outcomes in both a business and personal sense. With her extensive experience in risk management leadership roles in APRA regulated entities including financial services and superannuation over the past 18 years, Nina is fervently committed to embedding value-added risk management and compliance strategies throughout St.LukesHealth and  fostering a strong risk and compliance culture at all levels within the business.

James is a Registered Nurse by profession, initially specialising in Perioperative Nursing. He holds a range of professional offices including president of his local Tasmanian association, followed by presidency of both the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses and the International Federation of Perioperative Nurses. James has held executive roles with St.LukesHealth for a number of years and more recently was appointed General Manager of Salveo Healthcare Services – a healthcare service delivery division of St.LukesHealth. Salveo Healthcare Services provides a private post-natal service to the fund’s Northern Tasmanian members through a partnership with the Mantra Charles Hotel. The service has also launched an in-home preventative care service for St.LukesHealth members living with chronic disease.
