Up to $500 off terms and conditions
Terms and Conditions – “Join combined hospital and extras or hospital only cover and receive up to $500 off your policy and the waiver of the 2, 3 and 6 month waiting periods on extras cover” (the “Promotion”).
1. These terms and conditions apply to the Promotion.
2. The Promotion commences at 12:00am AEDT on 03/11/2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 03/12/2025 (The “Promotion Period”).
3. The Promotor is St Lukes Medical and Hospital Benefits Association ACN 009 479 618 of 93 Cimitiere Street, Launceston, TAS 7250, Tel 1300 651 988 (“St Lukes”).
4. Participation in this Promotion shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
5. To be eligible for the Promotion the new member(s) must:
a. join a combined hospital and extras cover or hospital only, with a join effective date during the Promotion Period
b. pay the first months’ premium at the time of join;
c. be new to St Lukes, and have not held cover with St Lukes in the previous 12 months of the start date of the policy; excluding dependants and
d. must be an Australian resident.
6. To be eligible for the Promotion an existing member must:
a. Upgrade their existing combined or hospital only cover to include a new partner/spouse, or upgrade their existing single cover to a single parent cover, where the promotion will only apply to the new partner/spouse or dependent.
b. Upgrade their existing extras only cover to a combined cover, where the promotion will only apply to the hospital component that has been added.
c. No upfront premium is required for a and b.

8. Where an eligible member transfers from another health insurer any annual limits used with the previous insurer are deducted from the new member’s available limits.
9. All extras waiting periods greater than 6 months apply.
10. When transferring from another health fund to St Lukes, continuity of cover to the equivalent level, will apply if all waits have been served with the other fund and the transfer is within 60 days of ceasing cover with the previous health fund.
11. All hospital waiting periods apply for members who are new to Private Health Insurance
12. St Lukes collects personal information on the membership application form. Eligibility for this Promotion is conditional on providing this information. The personal information collected will be used in accordance with St Lukes’ Privacy Policy.
13. This Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer, unless otherwise advised by St Lukes.
14. St Lukes, its contractors, employees, and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the Promotion and/or except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.
15. St Lukes reserves the right, at any time, to verify an individual’s eligibility for the Promotion (including an individual’s identity, age and place of residence) and to determine an individual(s)is not eligible for the promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the St Lukes’ discretion. Failure by St Lukes to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
16. St Lukes’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. St Lukes assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of the Promotion. St Lukes is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to members or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this Promotion. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of St Lukes, St Lukes reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to:
a. exclude any individual; or
b. modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
18. Employees of St Lukes are not eligible for the Promotion. This includes an employee’s partner/spouse and dependant.
19. Employees of Salveo Healthcare Limited (ACN 645 287 583) (“Salveo”) are not eligible for the Promotion. This includes a Salveo employee’s partner/spouse and dependant.
20. Employees of Healthy Business (Tasmania) Pty Ltd (ABN 41 075 007 500) (“Healthy Business”) are not eligible for the Promotion. This includes a Healthy Business employee’s partner/spouse and dependant.
21. Employees of Healthcare Software Pty Ltd (Tasmania) Pty Ltd (ABN 75 094 641 755) (“Healthcare Software”) are not eligible for the Promotion. This includes a Healthcare Software employee’s partner/spouse and dependant.
