The Watch Study: Empowering Lifestyle Change in Tasmania Through Mobile Health Technology

Want to understand your daily movement and help create a healthier Tasmania? The University of Tasmania is seeking St Lukes members who want to become more active to participate in a 12-week study. By wearing the free Garmin Smartwatch we provide, you'll gain valuable insights into your activity levels and assist researchers in understanding how technology can enhance health for everyone.

What will you do?

Wear a Garmin Smartwatch daily paired with the Snug Health app for 12 weeks.

Complete brief survey questions at the start, middle, and end of the study period.

Who can join?

Current St Lukes members who are:

Wanting to become more active.

Aged 18-74 years without medical restrictions for walking.

Own and use a smartphone (Android or iOS).

Willing to wear the Garmin smartwatch paired with Snug Health app daily for 12 weeks.
