Leading Tasmanian not‑for‑profit health and wellness organisation St Lukes is offering a first look at its new Customer Care Centre and St Lukes Dental practice at Spring Farm Village, giving an early glimpse of the new space designed to make health and wellbeing easier to access.
Chief Operating Officer Darren Harris said the move reflects St Lukes’ focus on improving the member experience as well as access to affordable dental care that’s open to the whole community.

“Face‑to‑face care has always been at the heart of the St Lukes experience,” he said. “Our move to Spring Farm Village gives members easier access to the local, personalised support they rely on, along with high‑quality, affordable dental care in the same location.
“This new space is about making health and wellbeing more accessible for our community, while creating greater value and support for our members as we continue our work to make Tasmania the healthiest island on the planet.”
Mr Harris said bringing private health insurance support and dental care together will create a more seamless experience.
“We know Tasmanians face real challenges accessing affordable dental care,” he said. “Our new Kingston dental practice will offer services from general check‑ups to emergency and cosmetic dentistry.
“We believe all Tasmanians have a fundamental right to good oral health. Our Kingston dental practice will be open to everyone in the community, whether or not you have private health cover, and regardless of which fund you’re with. Meanwhile, St Lukes members with eligible Extras cover can enjoy preventative dental with no out-of-pocket costs.
“As a Tasmanian not‑for‑profit, we’re committed to acting on the issues that matter most to our community.”
St Lukes Dental bookings are now open. The existing St Lukes Customer Care Centre at Channel Court will remain open until the new Spring Farm Village location is officially opened in June.
