Agfest special offer terms and conditions

Terms and Conditions – “Join or switch to combined Hospital and Extras or Hospital only cover at AGFEST and receive 6 weeks free and the waiver of the 2, 3 and 6 month waiting periods on extras cover. Plus go into the draw to win either a $500 IGA grocery voucher or $500 EFTPOS Gift Card!” (the “Promotion”).

1.    These terms and conditions apply to the Promotion.
2.    The Promotion commences at 12:00am AEST on 1 May 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 31 May 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).
3.    The Promotor is St Lukes Medical and Hospital Benefits Association ACN 009 479 618 of 93 Cimitiere Street, Launceston, TAS 7250, Tel 1300 651 988 (“St Lukes”). 
4.    Participation in this Promotion and related gift card/grocery voucher draw shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 
5.    To be eligible for the Promotion the new member(s) must:
        i.    join a combined hospital and extras cover or hospital only, with a join effective date during the Promotion Period at AGFEST, or as a follow up call;
       ii.    pay the first months’ premium at the time of join;
       iii.    be new to St Lukes, and have not held cover with St Lukes in the previous 12 months of the start date of the policy; and
       iv.    must be an Australian resident.
6.    In case of an existing member, in addition to points 5ii-5iv above, the member must:
       i.    upgrade their existing combined or hospital only cover to include a new partner/spouse or dependent, where the promotion will only apply to the new partner/spouse or dependent; or
       ii.    upgrade their existing hospital only cover to a combined cover, where the promotion will apply to the extras cover that has been added only, and pay the first months’ premium to take advantage of the 6 weeks free on the additional portion of cover only.
7.    Where an eligible member transfers from another health insurer any annual limits used with the previous insurer may be deducted from the new member’s available limits.
8.    To be eligible to enter the draw for the $500 IGA grocery voucher or $500 EFTPOS Gift Card (the “Prize”) entrants must meet all eligibility requirements listed above in points 5 or 6, whichever is noted as relevant by the assisting St Lukes employee.
9.    Eligible members who are also Tasmanian residents will receive one entry into the draw to win a $500 IGA grocery voucher.
10.    Eligible members who are residents of ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, VIC or WA will receive one entry into the draw to win a $500 EFTPOS Gift Card.
11.    The use of the grocery voucher or gift card is subject to the terms and conditions of the grocery voucher or gift card, for which St Lukes has no control over.
12.    St Lukes collects personal information on the Promotion entry form. Entry into this Promotion is conditional on providing this information. The personal information collected will be used in accordance with St Lukes’ Privacy Policy.
13.    Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
14.    If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, St Lukes reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
15.    St Lukes will draw the winner of the Promotion at random from the details collected to enter. The draw will take place on 12 June 2025 at 10:00am at 93 Cimitiere street, Launceston TAS 7250.
16.    The winner will be contacted by St Lukes directly on 12 June 2025 via email and/or phone to organise delivery and/or collection of the Prize.
17.    The winner will receive either a $500 IGA grocery voucher or $500 EFTPOS Gift Card determined by their state of residence.
18.    The Prize is not exchangeable for cash or transferrable.
19.    Any costs incurred to claim the Prize are at the expense of the winner.
20.    St Lukes may conduct such further draws as are necessary if the Prize remains unclaimed three months after the date of the draw, subject to any directions given by a regulatory authority. If necessary, an unclaimed Prize draw will be conducted on 12 September 2025 and the winner will be notified via email and/or phone.
21.    Entrants into the draw consent to St Lukes displaying their name on their Facebook profile in the event they are a winner and in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by St Lukes.
22.    This Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer, unless otherwise advised by St Lukes.
23.    St Lukes, its contractors, employees, and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the Promotion and/or its Prize except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. St Lukes accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the receipt of the Prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
24.    St Lukes’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
25.    St Lukes assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of the Promotion. St Lukes is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to members or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this Promotion. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of St Lukes, St Lukes reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to:
       i.    exclude any entrant; or
       ii.    modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
26.    Employees of St Lukes are not eligible for the Promotion. This includes an employee’s partner/spouse and dependant.
27.    Employees of Salveo Healthcare Limited (ACN 645 287 583) (“Salveo”) are not eligible for the Promotion. This includes a Salveo employee’s partner/spouse and dependant.
