1. These terms and conditions apply to the Promotion which is “Guess the eggs in the hamper to win the hamper, plus 1 of 5 family passes to the 2024 Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation Easter Egg Hunt” The Promotion commences at 5:00pm AEDT on 25 March 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 26 March 2024 (“Promotion Period”).

2. The prizes are:

a. First prize – 1 x hamper of Easter Eggs and 1 x family pass to the 2024 Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation Easter Egg Hunt.

b. Second, third, fourth and fifth prize -  1 x family pass to the 2024 Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation Easter Egg Hunt.

3. Promoter means St Luke’s Medical and Hospital Benefits Association ACN 009 479 618 of 17 Quadrant Mall, Launceston, TAS 7250, Tel 1300 651 988 (also referred to as St Lukes).

4. Competition Entrant means a resident of Tasmania.

5. The Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer. 

6. Only one entry per person will be eligible to go into the prize draw. 

7. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family are not eligible for the Promotion. Immediate family includes the employee’s partner/spouse and dependent children. 

8. Employees of Salveo Healthcare Limited (ACN 645 287 583) and their immediate family are not eligible for the Promotion. Immediate family includes the employee’s partner/spouse and dependent children. 

9. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a participant in the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine their identity. 

10. Prize Draw

a. The prize for the winner of the Promotion is one hamper of Easter Eggs and 1 x family pass to the 2024 Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation Easter Egg Hunt. 

b. If more than one person guesses the same number of eggs that is the correct or closest guess, the Promoter will undertake a random draw to determine who the winner is. The Promoter’s  decision is final.

c. The four closest guesses to the correct number of eggs in the hamper (after the winner) will receive 1 x family pass to the 2024 Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation Easter Egg Hunt each. If more than one person guesses the same number of eggs that makes them eligible for 2^nd or 3^rd or 4^th or 5^th prize then the Promoter will undertake a random draw to determine who the winners are. The Promoter’s decision is final.

d. Winners will be contacted directly via Facebook Messenger to arrange for collection of the hamper and delivery of the family passes to the 2024 Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation Easter Egg Hunt.

e. First prize hamper needs to be collected from St Lukes Hobart – 72 Elizabeth Street, Hobart within two weeks of the winner being notified. The family pass will be provided electronically to the winner’s email after the winner informs the Promoter of their email address. If the winner does not inform the Promoter of their email address, then they forfeit the family pass. 

f. Second, third, fourth and fifth prizes will be provided electronically to each winner’s email after the winner informs the Promoter of their email address.  If a winner does not inform the Promoter of their email address, then they forfeit the family pass.

g. The family passes are not transferable or exchangeable. 

h. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.

i. Any costs incurred to collect the prize is at the expense of the winner.

11. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the Promotion and/or its prizes except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the receipt of the Gift Card. Independent financial advice should be sought.

12. Participation in this Promotion shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

13. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to members or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to:

 

a. exclude any competition entrant; or 

 

b. modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

15. The Promoter collects personal information to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Please refer to the Promoter’s full privacy policy on the Promoter’s website for details of how the Promoter collects, stores and uses your personal information. Entry into this Promotion is conditional on providing this information. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
